Terms & Conditions

1. Your Order

We must receive payment in full for your order before we can dispatch your items.
HealthBod Tea endeavours to dispatch your product within 30 hours of purchase.

2. Price

2.1 The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out by HealthBod Tea at the time of your order.

2.1.1 All of our prices are in Australian Dollars (“AUD”). You will be billed in AUD. If you purchase from outside Australia, currency fluctuations and credit card charges may make a difference to the amount billed to your credit or debit card.

2.2 You may be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Our delivery charges are set out in our website at time of payment. If we are unable to deliver to your location we will notify you of this by email and invite you to choose a different delivery location.(or accept a full refund/cancel your order)

2.3 Our prices may change from time to time.

3. Cancellation by you

3.1 Subject to 3.3 below, you may cancel your order at any time up to 36 hours after you purchase the goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your order nor will you have to pay any penalty however you will have to return the goods to us in accordance with the procedure set out in this paragraph 3.

3.2 To cancel your order you must notify us by email at info@healthbod.com.au regarding your cancellation with the title ‘Cancel Order’ in the subject line of the email.  Cancellations not titled as stated will not be refunded.

3.3 Your right to cancel your order is subject to:

a) you not having opened the packaging; and

b) you contacting us by email within 36 hours of purchasing the goods with the title ‘Cancel Order’ in the subject line; and

c) you returning the goods to us and HealthBod Tea emailing you a suitable address for returned goods.  The cost of returning the goods to HealthBod Tea will be met by you the purchaser.

3.4 If you have notified us that you are cancelling your order, the sum debited from your credit/debit card will be credited to your account as soon as possible of us receiving the returned items provided that the goods in question are received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you.

3.5 We will not offer any compensation for disappointment.

4. Cancellation by us

4.1 We will not accept, and we reserve the right to cancel, any order between you and us if:

4.1.1 we have insufficient product / stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; or

4.1.2 we do not deliver to your country or area; or

4.1.3 one or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information.

4.2 If we do cancel your order we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit/debit card at our earliest convenience.

5. Delivery to you

5.1. We will deliver the goods ordered by you (despatch within 30 hours of purchase) to the address you give us for delivery when you make your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is correct and accurate.

5.2 Please note that items delivered to certain countries around the world may be delayed or potentially detained due to elevated customs restrictions.

5.3 If your order is returned to us because the postal service could not complete delivery to you for whatever reason, you will be responsible for the additional delivery costs if the goods are re-delivered. We will contact you on the return of the goods to us by the postal service and we can either arrange re-delivery of the goods or you will have the option of cancelling your order and we will reimburse your credit/debit card, less delivery fees.

6. Liability

6.1 You will become the owner of the goods ordered when they have been dispatched to you. If the goods are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an unacceptable quality please contact us as soon as possible.

6.2 If you do not receive the goods you ordered within the approximated time set out, we shall hold no liability for the goods unless you notify us by email of the problem and show photographic evidence of the damaged or defective product. If you notify us of a problem under this paragraph, we will either:

6.2.1 replace any goods that are damaged or defective; or

6.2.3 refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.

6.3 we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising out of any problem you notify us of under this paragraph and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question as stated above.

6.4 we make no representation that goods on HealthBod Tea are appropriate or available for use in locations outside Australia.  If you choose to access this site from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from HealthBod Tea. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

7. Discount Codes, Offers and Competitions

7.1: Discount codes and offers do not apply to select items including all sale items and gift certificates.

7.2: Any and all competitions and promotions offered by HealthBod Tea from this Web Site (“Competition“) are open to any Australian or New Zealand resident who is aged 18 or over, except for employees (and their families) of HealthBod Tea or anyone else connected with the Competition. All prizes must be accepted as offered. There can be no alternative awards, cash or otherwise. Every effort is made to ensure all prize details are correct at time of going online.  The winner must be prepared to cooperate with publicity arising as a result of winning a competition. The winner may have their name published on Facebook as the winner or part of a number of winners of the competition. The winner will be drawn at random after the closing date. All Entrants must register for the relevant Competition by giving their correct name and address in Australia or New Zealand, together with their email address. By registering for the relevant competition, you accept that you will be signed up to our newsletter of which you can unsubscribe at any time.

7.3: Offer of ‘FREE’ ball tea strainer will only apply to customers who use the Promo Code: TEA at point of checkout, AND who purchase a 100g bag of HealthBod Tea or HealthBod Tea TeaPot.  Offer of free ball tea strainer excludes customers who only purchase a single tea strainer.

8. Law

8.1 your order is deemed to be completed within Australia and shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Australian Law. These terms and conditions (and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claims of whatever nature in relation to them) shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Australian Law and the Australian Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation thereto.

9. Entire Agreement

13.1 we make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published on our website. From time to time our site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.

10. Events beyond our control

We will not be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise liable for any delay in performance if the delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, breakdown of systems or network access, accident, Acts of God i.e. flood, fire, explosion.

11. Supply Difficulties

In the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute goods or packaging of equal quality and value.

12. Privacy and Data

HealthBod Tea is committed to ensuring that your privacy and data is protected.

13. Information we collect and how we use it

When you register or subscribe to HealthBod Tea we need to know your name, postal and email address. To process an order we may also need your payment details: your credit/debit card number and expiry date plus any security details required by the credit/debit card processor. The information is input in a secure environment.

The information you provide is also used by us to communicate with you on any matter regarding your account and our services in general.

We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website use to help us develop HealthBod Tea and our services. These statistics do not include information that can be used to identify you as an individual.

14. Company or Business sale

If HealthBod Tea or our business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective buyers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners.

15. Updating your Details

If any of the information that you have provided to HealthBod Tea changes or if you wish to cancel your subscription, please let us know the correct details by sending an email to info@healthbod.com.au.  If you wish to cancel your subscription please send an email with ‘Cancel My Subscription’ in the Subject line of the email.

16. Your Consent

By visiting the HealthBod Tea website, you are accepting and consenting to our Terms and Conditions.  If we change our Terms and Conditions we will post the changes on our website. Your continued use of our website shows that you agree to such changes.

Because of the global nature of the Internet, the information provided may be transferred in transit to countries outside Australia that do not have similar protections to ours regarding your data and its use. We will take reasonable steps to try to maintain the security of your information. By submitting your information you consent to such transfers.

17. Charity

A percentage of HealthBod Tea profit will be given to a chosen Charity as chosen by the Director at the end of every financial quarter and the percentage of profit will be determined by the Director.  If the Director chooses she may obtain advice from an accountant or lawyer concerning percentage of profit given to the chosen Charity.

19. Free Tea Strainer Promotion

The Free Ball and Chain Tea Strainer offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer and expires after the first 100 orders. Offer limited to one per person. Promo code  TEA must be used to redeem the offer.

If you no longer wish to receive this information, please send an email message to info@healthbod.com.au we will then remove you from our communications list.


Our teas are lovely to drink and we hope that you love them just as much as we do but if you think you may be allergic to our products, are pregnant or nursing, have any medical conditions or are taking medication please consult your general practitioner and/or medical specialist before using any of our products.  If you do have any persisting symptoms after using our product please consult your general practitioner and/or medical specialist.
